The Role
We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Energy Advisor to provide practical, tailored advice to householders by telephone. You will help customers reduce their energy and utility costs through guidance on energy efficiency, low-carbon technologies, benefits, income maximisation and available support services.
You will manage inbound and outbound calls, build rapport quickly, maintain accurate customer records and support the delivery of energy advice programmes. The role also involves working towards monthly targets covering productivity, call conversion and service quality. This is primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid working.
What You Will Bring
You will have:
- At least two years’ contact-centre experience
- Strong telephone and customer-service skills
- Clear, empathetic communication and the ability to support vulnerable customers
- Confidence working towards KPIs in a busy environment
- Excellent organisation, IT skills and attention to detail
- The ability to solve problems, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively
Previous energy-advice experience is desirable, but structured training is available for candidates with strong transferable skills.
