Your Role & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Management Accounts – Produce monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and company financial reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Develop, monitor, and update budgets and financial forecasts to help the business plan for future growth.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting – Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
- Cost Control & Profitability Assessment – Monitor costs, assess profitability, and recommend efficiency improvements to enhance financial performance.
- Compliance & Tax Management – Ensure adherence to UK financial regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and CIS compliance, while liaising with external auditors and HMRC
What We’re Looking For
✔ CIMA qualification or working towards acheiving this
✔ Industry experience in Construction, Property, or Manufacturing
✔ Strong Sage 200 expertise and INSPIRE
✔ Knowledge of construction CIS & VAT (preferred but not essential)
✔ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Ability to conduct detailed business analysis and contribute to strategic planning alongside the Managing Director
✔ Ambitious, eager to learn, and keen to grow with the company
