Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Management Accounts – Produce monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and company  financial reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Develop, monitor, and update budgets and financial forecasts to help the business plan for future growth.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting – Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
  • Cost Control & Profitability Assessment – Monitor costs, assess profitability, and recommend efficiency improvements to enhance financial performance.
  • Compliance & Tax Management – Ensure adherence to UK financial regulations, including VAT, PAYE, and CIS compliance, while liaising with external auditors and HMRC

What We’re Looking For

CIMA qualification or working towards acheiving this
Industry experience in Construction, Property, or Manufacturing
Strong Sage 200 expertise and INSPIRE
Knowledge of construction CIS & VAT (preferred but not essential)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to conduct detailed business analysis and contribute to strategic planning alongside the Managing Director
Ambitious, eager to learn, and keen to grow with the company
